Darren Rizzo
Chief executive Officer

Darren Rizzo is a seasoned executive with over 34 years of leadership in the solid waste industry, specializing in the strategic acquisition and growth of collection, disposal, and logistical assets. As CEO of Unified Disposal Partners (UDP), Darren brings a proven track record of building vertically integrated waste management platforms with operational scale and long-term value. In 2024, Darren co-founded UDP and led the acquisition of the Brundidge, Alabama landfill, further expanding his footprint in the Southeast disposal market. Prior to that, from 2022 to 2024, he led the development of Evergreen Environmental Partners (EEP), acquiring and scaling the Noble Hill Landfill in Alabama to a run rate of 360,000 tons annually. Under his leadership, EEP launched a successful solid waste collection operation with over 200 trucks, serving more than 70 municipalities and counties and nearly 300,000 customers. From 2005 to 2020, Darren co-founded New Jersey Rail Carriers, LLC, a short line railroad, and acquired Apex Environmental—a rail-served landfill in Ohio. He scaled Apex to over two million tons annually, moving approximately 14,000 rail cars per year, primarily via unit train service. Darren’s industry expertise, operational discipline, and vision continue to drive sustainable growth and innovation in the waste management sector.

Anthony Rizzo
Chief Operating Officer

Anthony Rizzo serves as Chief Operating Officer of Unified Disposal Partners (UDP), bringing over 34 years of operational leadership and innovation in the solid waste industry. With a background in engineering, Anthony is known for designing and integrating scalable systems that drive efficiency, accountability, and growth across collection, disposal, and logistics platforms. A co-founder of UDP, Anthony played a key role in acquiring and launching operations at the Brundidge, Alabama landfill in 2024. His focus on systems integration and performance metrics has been critical in positioning UDP as a next-generation waste management platform. From 2022 to 2024, Anthony co-led the buildout of Evergreen Environmental Partners (EEP), developing a 200-acre landfill at Noble Hill and launching a full-scale logistics division. EEP serviced over 70 municipalities and counties, managing an annual throughput of approximately 360,000 tons. Anthony’s strategic oversight enabled the creation of operational systems that supported rapid scaling while maintaining high service standards. Earlier in his career, Anthony co-founded New Jersey Rail Carriers, LLC and led the operations of Apex Environmental, a rail-served landfill in Ohio. Under his guidance, Apex grew to process more than two million tons annually, shipping roughly 14,000 rail cars per year. Anthony’s ability to engineer solutions and implement best-in-class operations has made him a recognized leader in the waste management field.

Glenn Alexander
Chief Financial Officer

Glenn Alexander serves as Chief Financial Officer of Unified Disposal Partners, bringing more than two decades of experience in financial leadership across public, private, and private equity-backed middle market companies. Known for his strategic insight and disciplined execution, Glenn has a proven track record of driving growth, operational efficiency, and successful transaction outcomes. Prior to joining UDP, Glenn served as CFO of Evergreen Environmental Partners, LLC, a private equity-backed waste management platform. There, he successfully led the integration of two strategic acquisitions within an eleven-month period, increasing revenue by $50 million and positioning the company for a successful sale to a national waste operator. Glenn played a critical role in aligning financial operations with investor goals, supporting strategic planning, and delivering a high-value exit. His broader career spans key financial leadership roles including Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Finance, and Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. He began his career in audit at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and has consistently demonstrated strong analytical acumen, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of operational finance in regulated industries. Glenn is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of New Jersey and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Montclair State University. At Unified Disposal Partners, Glenn oversees all financial functions, including corporate finance, strategic planning, M&A, investor relations, and compliance—ensuring the company’s continued growth is grounded in financial rigor, transparency, and long-term value creation.

Joseph Tatarek
Executive Vice President of Operations

Joseph Tatarek serves as Executive Vice President of Operations at Unified Disposal Partners (UDP), bringing more than 30 years of leadership and innovation in the waste management industry. Renowned for his ability to assess operational challenges and craft elegant, cost-efficient, and data-driven solutions, Joe plays a critical role in shaping the strategic direction and execution of UDP’s collection, disposal, and long-haul trucking services. Joe oversees all day-to-day field operations with a focus on improving efficiency, maximizing asset utilization, and upholding best-in-class safety and compliance standards. His deep knowledge of environmental regulations and industry benchmarks ensures that UDP consistently meets and exceeds operational and sustainability goals. Prior to joining UDP, Joe held senior management positions at leading firms across the industry, including Evergreen Environmental, Arrow Disposal, Interstate Waste Services, Apex Environmental, and Waste Management. In every role, he has earned a reputation for operational excellence, regulatory expertise, personnel development, and an ability to align operations with strategic growth objectives. Joe’s approach to leadership is grounded in metrics-based management and a relentless focus on results. His expertise continues to drive Unified Disposal Partners’ operational performance and commitment to service across all markets.
